Overview
Restored a malfunctioning WPBakery Visual Editor on a WordPress restaurant website after persistent backend editor failures and JavaScript conflicts. The project involved investigating compatibility issues within the Bridge theme, troubleshooting script loading and WordPress configuration, and examining the database and affected core files.
The underlying issue was traced to malicious code injected into website files. After resolving the issue, the WPBakery editor loaded and functioned correctly again. Additional cleanup included clearing the system cache, optimizing database tables, and performing a security scan to check for remaining suspicious scripts.
The result was a functional page-building workflow, with existing website content and layouts preserved.
